Describe your creative piece – what is it and what has it been used for, and why is it innovative?: Promote awareness. This poster board is used to create awareness of the Pauline Haass Public Library Foundation. This display is used to highlight the Foundation, explain our mission and accomplishments. It is used during library programs to highlight the grants to date and provide information for potential donors.

What issue or problem were you working to address with this piece?: Who are we? Although this organization has granted over $193,000 to the Pauline Haass Public Library, the community does not know who we are. The display brings awareness of the organization, the grants given to the Library and how potential donors can access more information and donate.

How has your submission successfully impacted your organization’s ability to solve this issue/problem?: Members of the community and library users are drawn to the board its colors and interesting yet easy to read fonts. It is read and understood and our mission of awareness is accomplished. People walk away with an understanding and appreciation of the Foundation and how it has improved the Pauline Haass Public Library.
