Adobe Products: Helping the Recycling Association of Minnesota be more effective, educate Minnesotans, and help raise the state recycling rate by 3%! Adobe products have enabled the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) to have a greater impact on educating Minnesotans about recycling by allowing us to create innovative, beautiful, and eye-catching educational messages. We are currently working on a statewide campaign to promote and educate Minnesotan’s about recycling. Through these useful and effective tools we have been able to create graphics which are powerful and have a lasting impact. Adobe Creative Suite has allowed us to create online toolkit materials (bill stuffers, graphics, etc.) which have been used by businesses and local governments to promote and educate about recycling all throughout the state. As a result of these efforts the state recycling rate has increase by three percent since the campaigns inception. Recycling education is one of the main tenants of our mission and Adobe Creative Suite has provided the RAM the tools to be more effective. About RAM: We do this by holding conferences; convening educational forums; creating networking opportunities; disseminating timely information; and initiating cooperative dialogue among our diverse membership. RAM also provides outreach activities to the public through the America Recycles Day campaign, our web site, our Message in a Bottle™ away from home recycling program, recycled product educational kits, the Recycle MORE Minnesota campaign, and other means. RAM has more than 200 members from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. RAM is the Minnesota affiliate of the National Recycling Coalition and the state organizer for America Recycles Day.
